About the Choir

The PCC Masterworks Chorus is a blended ensemble of professionals from our Chamber Choir, along with community members with a variety of experience levels. If you would like to join this inclusive, multi-generational group of singers visit our Masterworks page under the Ensembles tab to sign up!

About the Concert

This year’s Masterwork is the Fauré Requiem. This work for chorus and orchestra brings a different view to the Requiem texts. Fauré wrote, “…it is thus that I see death: as a happy deliverance, an aspiration towards happiness above, rather than as a painful experience.”
